As with all hand made products, inconsistencies will appear from time to time as a result of the nature of the hand made materials used. Our hand made stained glass often contains inconsistencies such as small bubbles, divots, drips or swirls within the surface of the glass. As well, our hand made prayer boxes often contain inconsistencies within the tin designs worked into the top and sides of each box, as well as slight inconsistencies between stone sizes and shapes. We consider these inconsistencies to be unique properties of our hand made products, and not in any way damage or defects. Although every stained glass cross that leaves our studios is shipped in excellent condition, and is wrapped and packaged carefully and professionally, we do occasionally run into damage which is generally incurred during shipping. We recommend shipping using our carrier of choice, UPS. We label all of our boxes carefully with 'fragile' stickers, and UPS usually does a good job of handling these. If, however, you should receive your package, and the cross is damaged, check the packaging for abuse or damage as well. If your items were damaged during shipping, we consider this as a matter to be resolved between the purchaser and the carrier. We also recommend holding your damaged packaging as proof of your claim. Should you receive your cross and the packaging is in relatively good condition, but the cross inside has any real damage such as cracked, broken glass or chipped, broken grout, then we consider this our responsibility and we will immediately replace your damaged cross or give you a full refund. Please notify us of any damage within 5 days of receipt of goods. Call us toll free at 888-418-6888, or fax us at 817-446-7263 or send an e-mail to info@caseysplanet.com . Thanks again for purchasing a Caseys Planet stained glass product!
